Solar Energy: What is it?

Solar Energy uses photovoltaic Cells to capture the suns energy and convert it into working electricity. That electricity can be used to heat your home, and cover most the expense's of your electricity bill. Case studies have shown clients of solar energy have received as much of 70% off there electric bill monthly. Not only that but extra energy can be sold back to your electric grid for credits. Essentially giving energy back-rolling back your meters, and saving you money. Below is a diagram of how photovoltaic cells work.

A little about The Cost.....

PV systems are still relatively expensive when compared to conventional power sources in terms of installations, but this cost has been reduced dramacticly by state and federal incentives. In addition to this, PV can be the lowest cost source of electricity for locations that are not served by the electric grid. Even small purchases can play an important role in expanding the market for PV. As the market increases, the price of PV will continue to come down.
